  1. Branding is the way that a company identifies itself to consumers. Today branding is about creating loyalty and the best way to do this is by aiming at the heart using emotional appeal. However, these attractive brands do not always reflect company’s practices and behavior. Often these companies have unfair treatment of domestic and overseas laborers. Like Nike in he early nineties with there questionable labor treatment overseas. This has started anti corporate sentiments by increasing consumer consciousness. There are now companies that are getting rid of the branding. Like Muji a Japanese company much like Target that only sells unbranded products. Also companies that a proving to be more eco friendly have become more popular by taking the stance that they care about the environment. Branding can be away to create change.
